Protect Humanities Funding
Mass Humanities funds public humanities programs throughout the Commonwealth with tax dollars from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the state legislature via the Massachusetts Cultural Council. We believe — and we know you believe — that it`s important for our elected government to support humanities programming at both the federal and state levels.
Whether you've received a grant from us, participated in our programs, donated to Mass Humanities, or simply know about our work and how it has aided communities across the Commonwealth, you can help us by faxing your legislator a letter of support today! For your convenience, we have provided a sample letter for your representative here and another sample letter for your senators here.
There is no more powerful an advocate for what we fund than you!
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions. And thank you for your ongoing support of Mass Humanities!
