Tradition & Transition in Cuba
The Cuba Seminars provide a rare, full-access pass and in-depth intellectual immersion into this storied nation.
The Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities has been relicensed by the U.S. government to resume travel to Cuba for the purpose of people-to-people cultural exchanges. We are authorized to bring groups of up to 24 travelers to Cuba. This is a unique opportunity to visit a country that has been inaccessible to most U.S. citizens for over half a century.
It is a particularly exciting time to visit the island. Cuba is currently undergoing profound economic and social change as it attempts to reform its socialist model and transition to a mixed economy. For more about the transition, read David Tebaldi's article in Americas Quarterly.
Currently there are no trips planned.
